This series of work explores salted caramel's path from little-known French treat to global food trend based on a 2012 article in The New York Times.
The poster chronicles the timeline of salted caramel’s rise to popularity, the booklet covers the history French sea salt, and the cards function as an aid for a salt tasting based on specific French salts available at salt retailer, The Meadow, in Portland, Oregon.
The project aims to reach the audience on a macro and micro scale, providing both broad and intimate experiences with fine salts and salted caramel.
