The Big Green Truck
For this group project we were charged with creating a service that met an educational or health related need. After researching the effects of food deserts nationwide and their reach within the local St. Louis area, our team generated the concept for The Big Green Truck.
The Big Green Truck is a mobile garden consultancy, visiting existing community gardens to educate users on plant maintenance and how to incorporate crops grown on-site into a healthy diet. In addition to in-person outreach, The Big Green Truck provides online resources to assist users in meal-planning and scheduling a visit from the truck.
This book documents the research and brand development of The Big Green Truck. As the identity designer on the project, I created the logo and selected the brand colors and typefaces and overall aesthetic. The Big Green Truck was made in collaboration with Elizabeth Korb, Becca Shuman, and Sam Schauer.
